Heiki Sibul was appointed as the representative of Estonia on the global internet discussion platform IGF

MAG is composed of 40 members representing diverse internet governance stakeholders and regions worldwide. The group’s primary mission is to shape the topics and program for IGF 2025. Carol Roach, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Economy in the Bahamas, leads this influential team.
Established by the United Nations in 2005, the Internet Governance Forum provides a platform to discuss critical issues and challenges in internet governance. The 2025 IGF program will also address the 20-year review process of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and the renewal of the IGF mandate.
MAG members are recognized experts in the field, representing the interests of their respective communities. Additionally, contributions come from past IGF organizers, leaders of representative groups, members of UN regional commissions, and intergovernmental organization representatives. The full list of MAG members is available here.
The next Internet Governance Forum will be held from June 23 to 27, 2025, in Norway. For more details, visit the official website at www.igf2025.no.

What Happens to .ee Domains When a Company Closes?
The Estonian Internet Foundation (EIF) works hard to keep the .ee domain registry accurate and up to date. If a company has been shut down, we try to transfer the domain to someone who still uses it—or we may delete it so someone else can register it.
